Update and Prayer Requests.
Hello All,
On November 21 1989, we left from the U.S. to Cuernavaca to serve the Lord in Mexico. That was 30 years ago, and we are very thankful for the 14 years we were able to live life in Mexico, and for the almost 16 years that we have been back in the United States.
We are blessed to be part of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley. We have been here for a short year and a half and are being blessed as we continue our studies in preparation for ministry. We just finished a class on gospel outreach and have begun to go out to the community to share the gospel with the lost. Martha is taking a course on Biblical counseling to be better equipped personally and for ministry. I also just finished a course on the Old Testament at the Expositors Institute. I have a few assignments to turn in, in The Fundamentals of Biblical Theology, and finished a course on Hermeneutics.
Next summer, there will be about 23 teams going to 22 different countries to support some of the missionaries that are serving throughout the world from Grace Community Church. Martha and I are praying about being involved on one of these teams. Perhaps to Argentina or Columbia. This will give us hands on experience in writing a missionary letter and in raising support for the trip.
Please pray for us also as we speak with the leaders of missions here at the church and we discuss the possibilities and timing of returning to Cuernavaca. It would be awesome to see an extension of The Masters Academy International there at the home in Cuernavaca.
On our recent trip to Cuernavaca in September, we were able to spend time with some of the family members of 2 of the students from the Masters Seminary who are from Cuernavaca and the surrounding area. We are building new relationships with many dear ones who love the Lord. We are asking God that He would receive glory through our lives.
